    I commend those who step forward and declare their faith and intentions. The problem for those wishing to stay in TEC is that the news media reports to the nation, these declarations are seen by few.

    This is a balanced and clear statement of where the parish stands. I suspect it is the kind of statement that could be made by hundreds of congregations around the Episcopal Church.

    There was also a half page advertisement of this message published in the
    Sunday edition of the Savannah Morning News last Sunday which is
    distributed all over Southeast Georgia and the Low Country of South Carolina.
