    Thanks, Kendall. I also love the verse from the same psalm that serves as the antiphon to the Nunc Dimittis at Compline: “Into your hands I commend my spirit; for you have redeemed me, O Lord, O God of truth.” Readers will probably recognize that in Luke’s passion narrative, Jesus utters these as his dying words.
