From the morning email traffic:
Adam Feuerstein: Dave Morrow, TheStreet.com’s former E-in-C died last night after a too short battle with cancer. He was 49. R.I.P. Dave, you’ll be missed.
Dave had pancreatic cancer and was not quite 50; very sad–KSH.
Part of the reason I post things like this is so we may be reminded that the personal things in people’s lives matter. Stay alert–the time is short.
Pancreatic Cancer is rapid, and devastating. There are some exciting research developments based on gene therapy being looked at now which I had the privilege of being involved in fundraising for, but they will come too late for Dave Morrow and many like him sadly. Fundraising for research rather than paliative care is not sexy but is just about the most important things to contribute to.
Medical research is always a day late and a dollar short for mortals.
