As a Dallas resident and subscriber to the DMN, I was surprised to see this.
But I would note that in the print edition it has “Advertising Supplement to The Dallas Morning News.†(You have to back up to the first page of the supplement from your link; that notice is that very, very small print at the top of the first page.) The advertisers paid a lot of money for this 16 page colorful supplement. The Diocese of Dallas was not among the sponsors, nor did I spot any Episcopal parishes.
Obviously, though, Robinson is engaged in more than the shepherding of the flock in New Hampshire.
Looks like it’s sponsored by something called the Human Rights Campaign. Also, it’d be good to make it clear that +VGR is on pp. 4-5 of a 15-page supplement, the theme of which is faith and religion – that is, it’s not just about him.
