When Eric’s head goes back during the race you can feel God’s pleasure. His sister and brothers in the stands “get it” – and many others did also that day. Well done Eric Liddell – be thou at peace.
I came upon Chariots of Fire on TV the other night and watched it ’til the wee hours. I’d forgotten what a splendid movie it is. Ian Charleson’s portrayal of Eric Liddell was superb.
