Neil Armstrong was truly a great and humble man…..a true American hero who made the “one giant leap,” and now he has made the greatest leap of all……to be with our Lord. May he rest in peace, and may his family and friends know that he is in God’s hands.

I was 11 years old in 1969 and space-race nut like so many other kids my age. Neil Armstrong was (is) a hero of mine like no other, and part of that was because he acted like no other.
God gave him the real stuff: Courage, intelligence and modesty all in great quantity. May he rest in peace.

I read the first news of his moon landing when a Stars and Stripes newspaper was helicoptered into our location.

The contrasting events of our world at that time were those of a victory of man’s heroic ability to cross the hostile emptiness of space to reach the moon and then return and his ability and willingness to cause great death and destruction on our planet in an attempt to impose radical socialism on all of the world’s people.

Would that he had lived to see America’s return to the moon.

    He will see it #4.

    He’s already seen it.

    A great hero. Memory eternal!
