Growing into a fully formed human being is a long process, and scientists have found that unborn babies not only hiccup, swallow and stretch in the womb, they yawn too.
Researchers who studied 4D scans of 15 healthy fetuses also said they think yawning is a developmental process which could potentially give doctors a new way to check on a baby’s health.

In a different vein, I was wondering if they encouraged the child’s action by having his or her father speak to his child. Addressing them over some subject of import invariably causes such a reaction in my kids.
Geez, they’re baby dolphins and baby elephants form the womb! Why not baby humans?!

I have been there and I have experienced that. That reaction diminishes as the adult child aprroaches maturity and begins to acquire wisdom.
The yawning sequence reminds me that the infant in the womb is a real human being with a soul and a God given right to be treated as a living human being.
