  1. APB says:

I have a strong Celtic background. However, when I hear bagpipes, I am always reminded of the old English definition of a gentleman: Someone who can play the pipes, but does not.

  2. Dick Mitchell says:

Wonderful prelude to a glorious Eucharist at St. Philip’s.

  3. Militaris Artifex says:

Always a treat to hear the pipes.

  4. Blue Cat Man says:

It doesn’t hurt that yesterday was Robert Burns’ birthday!

  5. Militaris Artifex says:

Agreed, Blue Cat Man. But such synchronicity is hardly necessary to the enjoment of good piping.

I was surprised and delighted to find him there Friday evening. I heard the pipes as I left the Church Street Inn and was glad to see the piper was piping us into the glorious Eucharist Service. Glad he got recorded.
