The Latest Rasmussen Numbers from South Carolina

Over the past several days, the only real movement in South Carolina’s Republican Presidential Primary has been a four-point gain for Fred Thompson and a five-point decline for Mike Huckabee.

The big winner from that trade-off is John McCain.

Giuliani is betting his entire campaign on a strong showing in Florida, where he is now tied for the lead with three others.

Christian home-schoolers in Michigan may rally to the standard of . . . Ron Paul.

It is interesting that polls are being blown apart by actual primary results – so far. It appears that the media is trying so “d*m*” hard to elect the 2008 president and his cohorts right now they keep forgetting the secret November ballot of this year really decides the issues. Both of the major parties seem to have overlooked this fact completely. My wife and I still get phone call from people who just want to know who we are voting for. The pollsters get the same answer from both of us. We tell them it is none of their business and then we hang up.

These are for the generation of delegates at national conventions lest anyone forget. Is #1 suggesting that home schoolers and Ron Paul have something in common ? Or what ? FYI – home schoolers do disproportionately better at the college level than public school students and have won several national spelling bees over the past few years.
