Well, Clinton IS such an easy target! If she gets the nomination, or as we get closer, there will be more and more attacks on her record, her inexperience, etc.
But then, when hasn’t that been standard in political races?
uh Senator, you have not won the nomination, what are you busying yourself with Clinton for? And “Straight Talk” should always be in quotes, it’s very much in the eye of the beholder.
It is lamentable how the flag is being wrapped around the cross in these elections. This blogger is right. MacCain is attirbuting to the US what is rightly God’s – in the same way Pres GW Bush did by referring to the US as “the light that shines in the darkness, and the darkness shall not overcome it” after 9/11.
This is idolatry.
Does any more need to be said?
That said, requiring politicians to speak as if they were preaching is stupid, and requiring “no is good but God alone” caveats, is at least as stupid.
As a veteran of many years service in the USAF, I cannot and will not vote for Senator Clinton. Her record of non-support for military men and women during her husband’s presidency speaks for itself. Senator McCain isn’t perfect by any means, but if he’s chosen as his party’s nominee, he’s got my vote.

Clearly this blogger has too much free time.

#4: W’s statement was stupid.
