The two stories on there when I pulled it up at 1:30 on Tuesday are typical of left wing press. The churches in America need to quit trying to punish people in general and Israel in particular, especially in light of the fact that the Isrealis agreed to a Palistenian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, but Arafat backed out of his personal agreement because the other PLO leaders demanded total destruction of Israel and death to all Jews. But its good to know that what is left of PCUSA is just as nuts as what is left of TEC. The other story is out of touch with reality. The failure of the extension of jobless bebefits is Harry Reid’s fault. Enough Republicans necessary to pass it agreed to vote for it, but then Reid changed what the Republicans agreed to (a short term sxtension to a long term extension) and then said there would be no amendments to what he wanted–up or down only. So it went down. How ever you feel about these issues, it would help to be informed rather than knee jerk.
