Are you certain that this is an Episcopal service? I could not find any Wiccans, Buddhists, Native Americans, Bahias, Druids, Hindus, or Muslims participating. Seems unusual.
I’m pretty sure I saw an O (note the big)rthodox fellow tho, and of course the Mayor of Charleston.
The mayor declared this day to be especially + Lawrence’s Day. (boy finally putting that + in front sans “elect” feels God.
A very special day here indeed..
Thanks so much for the bulletin Fr. Kendall, it was an enormous help, put it up on another computer, and was able to keep pretty good track except for a couple of changes.
Rite I Eucharist! There are probably some bishops in ECUSA who have never heard it…
I wonder if Fr. Lawrence will have the distinction of being the last orthodox bishop consecrated in pecusa?

Glad you followed it, Gloria. I really enjoyed Joe Riley’s declaration of today as Mark Lawrence day.
Apparently the police didn’t get that word, some complaints about the “bells” of celebration?.
Couldn’t hear them all the way up here, but glad it finally over. Can we come out of our foxholes now? lol
Gloria
What a glorious service having a dignity lacking in so many of the “relevant and inclusive” burlesques that pass for services in TEC these days.
