Primates Meeting Set for Jan. 31-Feb. 6 in Egypt

The next meeting of the primates of the Anglican Communion will be Jan. 31 through Feb. 6, in Egypt, The Living Church has learned.

Among the topics expected to be discussed are the proposed Anglican Covenant and the three-fold moratoria proposed during the Lambeth Conference by the Windsor Continuation Group.

    Oh, goody, another chance for the Rowanesque-inadabadaveeeeeeeda ingathering, and -if that doesn’t work and there are actual results- Rowan can nullify them by his lack of action or interpretive ability. The speed of which will be proportional to the loss of ECUSA/TEC funding.

    Yes, I’m sure the Global South Primates will think this is a good use of their time and travel costs. Hey, they can just create a blog and save some money. But maybe also, then, by blogging they could really take a position on the issues.
