My anguish, my anguish! I writhe in pain!
\n Oh, the walls of my heart!
\nMy heart is beating wildly;
\n I cannot keep silent;
\nfor I hear the sound of the trumpet,
\n the alarm of war.
\nDisaster follows hard on disaster,
\n the whole land is laid waste.
\nSuddenly my tents are destroyed,
\n my curtains in a moment.
\nHow long must I see the standard,
\n and hear the sound of the trumpet?
\n\u201cFor my people are foolish,
\n they know me not;
\nthey are stupid children,
\n they have no understanding.
\nThey are skilled in doing evil,
\n but how to do good they know not.\u201d<\/p>\n
