For instance, while 65% of adults ages 18 to 29 say they use Snapchat, just 2% of those 65 and older report using the app \u2013 a difference of 63 percentage points.<\/p>\n<p>This is probably the least surprising data of the whole study, if I\u2019m being honest, but the stark contrast in age usages of these apps is notable.<\/p>\n<p>5) About 95% of Americans ages 18-29 use YouTube, the highest usage rate of any social media platform by any demographic.<br \/>\nThe greatest affinity between any demographic and any social media platform is 18-29-year-olds and YouTube. Check out this table (I\u2019ve circled the stat for you).
