In 2019, for example, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.postandcourier.com\/news\/mysterious-record-breaking-tides-have-plagued-charleston-and-elsewhere-for-months\/article_c17a7fe0-0bd5-11ea-8168-7fc3676b735f.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">persistently swollen oceans swamped the coast<\/a> from Florida through the mid-Atlantic.
