The Archbishop of Westminster and dozens of other clergymen from the Christian Leadership of London have written to Prime Minister Boris Johnson urging him to extend the visa programme to all Ukrainian refugees.<\/p>\n
The letter, sent on Wednesday, said the group was \u201cencouraged\u201d by the Government\u2019s family sponsorship programme and \u201cwelcomed the intention to establish a pathway to humanitarian sponsorship\u201d.<\/p>\n
But they called for \u201curgency\u201d and to \u201cact swiftly and without delay\u201d, criticising the visa forms process.<\/p>\n
\u201cHow can mothers with young children, the elderly and the disabled, who have travelled a thousand miles, be expected to complete online application forms in a language foreign to them?\u201d, the letter reads.<\/p>\n
