Chances are, it will be gone soon."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The most popular worship song in churches these days is \u201cBuild My Life,\u201d from Bethel Music, the megachurch-based worship music hit machine based in Northern California.<\/p>\n<p>Sitting at number one on the top 100 worship song chart from Christian Copyright Licensing International, which licenses worship music, \u201cBuild My Life,\u201d first released in 2016, is an outlier in worship music, where hit songs are here today and gone tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>A new study entitled \u201cWorship at the Speed of Sound,\u201d from Southern Wesleyan University professor Mike Tapper and colleagues, found that the lifespan of a hit worship song has declined dramatically in recent years.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/religionnews.com\/2022\/05\/02\/like-that-new-church-worship-song-chances-are-it-will-be-gone-soon\/\">Read it all<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Like that new church worship song?
