According to the Right Rev Dr Iain Greenshields, she was in \u201cfantastic form\u201d on the weekend before she died.<\/p>\n
He told Brandreth that she was \u201cso alive and engaging\u201d, and how they spoke about her childhood, her horses, church affairs and her sadness over the war in Ukraine. \u201cHer faith was everything to her. She told me she had no regrets,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Brandreth wrote: \u201cHer Majesty always knew that her remaining time was limited. She accepted this with all the grace you\u2019d expect.\u201d The biographer claimed he \u201cheard that the Queen had a form of myeloma \u2014 bone marrow cancer,\u201d which he wrote would explain the tiredness, weight loss and mobility issues that were spoken about during the last year of her life.<\/p>\n
Her death certificate stated that she had died of old age.<\/p>\n
Buckingham Palace has declined to comment on any of the claims in the book.<\/p>\n
