Comfort, comfort my people,
\nsays your God.<\/p>\n

Speak tenderly to Jerusalem,
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and cry to her
\nthat her warfare is ended,
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0that her iniquity is pardoned,
\nthat she has received from the Lord\u2019s hand
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0double for all her sins.
\n\u00a0
\nA voice cries:
\n\u201cIn the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord,
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Make straight in the desert a highway for our God.<\/p>\n

Every valley shall be lifted up,
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and every mountain and hill be made low;
\nthe uneven ground shall become level,
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and the rough places a plain.<\/p>\n

And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed,
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and all flesh shall see it together,
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.\u201d<\/p>\n
