{"id":122371,"date":"2023-07-27T12:04:58","date_gmt":"2023-07-27T16:04:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kendallharmon.net\/?p=122371"},"modified":"2023-07-27T18:50:49","modified_gmt":"2023-07-27T22:50:49","slug":"second-anglican-parish-heads-for-episcopal-church","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kendallharmon.net\/?p=122371","title":{"rendered":"(JE) Second Anglican Parish Heads for Episcopal Church"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An Anglican Church in North America parish\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rezaustin.com\/blog\/2023\/7\/25\/a-change-in-affiliation-for-resurrection\">announced<\/a>\u00a0this week that it is departing the theologically conservative denomination to pursue affiliation with the Episcopal Diocese of Texas, with its priest saying \u201cThis journey has brought us immense clarity and conviction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rezaustin.com\/\">Resurrection Anglican Church South Austin<\/a>\u00a0is the third parish in two years to depart the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/c4so.org\/\">Diocese of Churches for the Sake of Others<\/a>\u00a0(C4SO), following\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/stmarysnashville.com\/\">St. Mary of Bethany Parish<\/a>\u00a0Nashville and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetableindy.org\/\">The Table<\/a>\u00a0Indianapolis.
