About 80 people attended the events at St. Paul\u2019s Church, Chestertown; Trinity Cathedral, Easton; and St. Alban\u2019s, Salisbury. The format was essentially the same on all three evenings. After the bishop\u2019s introduction, participants gathered in small groups and spent some time responding to three questions. The responses then were shared with the whole group. All of the responses are being saved in a file which Bishop Shand will review before responding to the House of Bishops\u2019 request for feedback.<\/p>\n
\u201cI can\u2019t believe how far we\u2019ve come in the past three years,\u201d\u009d said one seminarian who was part of the diocese\u2019s task force on the Windsor Report. \u201cEveryone was respectful, no one was pointing fingers. We were really listening to one another.\u201d\u009d<\/p>\n
A priest commented, \u201cIn the 17 years I\u2019ve been in this diocese, this is the best gathering I\u2019ve been a part of. There was a sense of the sacred. I\u2019m very grateful for the bishop\u2019s leadership.\u201d\u009d<\/p>\n
