Bungoma has a diocesan link with Peterborough. The Bishop of Peterborough, the Rt Revd Ian Cundy, described Dr Wabukala on Tuesday as \u201ca reconciler both polit\u00c2\u00adically in the country and within the House of Bishops\u201d\u009d. He succeeds Arch\u00c2\u00adbishop Benjamin Nzimbi.<\/p>\n<p>Thousands of Christians are re\u00c2\u00adported to have thronged the streets of Bungoma to welcome the Archbishop-elect on his return home from the election.
