She soon regretted it.<\/p>\n<p>At work a couple of days later, her venting was topic No. 1 in the boardroom at Intuit, where Hunt works in marketing. Her colleagues had read the message and, to her embarrassment, chimed in about her love life.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For those who don&#8217;t know me well, it might leave the wrong impression of who I am,&#8221; said Hunt, who is a fixture on the Silicon Valley startup scene.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter, Facebook and other similar online services are making it easier than ever for people to share their thoughts with others.
