And big brands are attempting to capitalise on the trend.<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of February 14, the US makers of Sweethearts \u2014 a treat similar to the Love Hearts sold in the UK \u2014 released \u201cSituationships\u201d boxes with the usual loved-up messages such as \u201ctrue love\u201d and \u201conly you\u201d printed in a blurry font.<\/p>\n<p>The Spangler Candy Company said it wanted to \u201cspeak to all the people out there in hard-to-read relationships\u201d, and judging by the sales there are plenty of customers.
