The data published by a report published by the Evangelical Alliance in Northern Ireland has \u201csurprised\u201d even those who were aware of the strong presence of Christianity in the region.<\/p>\n

The survey, conducted by polling agency Savanta ComRes in spring 2023, shows that 50% of people in Northern Ireland identify themselves as \u201cpractising Christians\u201d. 17% of the surveyed said they had no religion, and another 31.3% identified as a non-practising Christian.<\/p>\n

The study revealed that \u201c23% go to church each week\u201d, 35% pray on a weekly basis and 13% \u201cpersonally read the Bible\u201d.<\/p>\n
