{"id":129562,"date":"2024-05-30T17:34:00","date_gmt":"2024-05-30T21:34:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kendallharmon.net\/?p=129562"},"modified":"2024-05-30T19:01:57","modified_gmt":"2024-05-30T23:01:57","slug":"survey-uncovers-reservations-about-outsourcing-church-safeguarding-work","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kendallharmon.net\/?p=129562","title":{"rendered":"(Church Times) Survey uncovers reservations about outsourcing church safeguarding work"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Most bishops and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.churchtimes.co.uk\/topics\/safeguarding\">safeguarding<\/a>\u00a0professionals in the C of E oppose the outsourcing of church safeguarding work to an independent body, according to the results of a survey commissioned this spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<em>Church Times&nbsp;<\/em>has obtained the unpublished results of a survey on the future of church safeguarding, which was commissioned in March (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.churchtimes.co.uk\/articles\/2024\/28-march\/news\/uk\/responses-to-professor-jay-s-church-safeguarding-report-sought\">News, 25 March<\/a>).
