Safeguarding the most vulnerable must be at the heart of the coming parliamentary process; today\u2019s vote is not the end of the debate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.churchtimes.co.uk\/topics\/archbishop-of-york\">Archbishop of York<\/a>&nbsp;was reported in the&nbsp;<em>Guardian&nbsp;<\/em>as saying: \u201cI regret this decision. It changes the relationship between the state and its citizens, between doctors and their patients, and within families between children and their terminally ill relatives.
