Lately, I have noticed a shift in their answers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last fall, I sat across from a freshman at Vanderbilt University. We were chatting over tacos when I posed the question. I watched the gears spin in his head.\u00a0<em>Would it be a church from back home? A great book?<\/em>\u00a0<em>An older mentor who discipled him? Maybe his parents?<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He leaned back.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYouTube.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I stared blankly, trying my best not to show my surprise.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It hit me: What we were doing\u2014eating lunch alongside one another\u2014discipl<em>er<\/em>&nbsp;and discipl<em>ee<\/em>\u2014might be an entirely new experience for him.
