Chinese financial institutions have lent more than $200 billion to the United States over the past 25 years \u2014 more than they have advanced to any other country \u2014 as part of a vast global spending spree to take control of Western companies working on sensitive technologies, according to new research released Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
