It is not an isolated demonstration of divine dazzlement\u2026 Since the resurrection is God\u2019s mighty transhistorical Yes to the historically crucified Son, we can assert that the crucifixion is the most important historical event that has ever happened. \u2026The resurrection ratifies the cross as&nbsp;<em>the<\/em>&nbsp;way \u201cuntil He comes.\u201d&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2IwePJt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>The Crucifixion<\/em><\/a>&nbsp;(44)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>We live in the now and the \u2018not yet.\u2019 And in the meantime, which is what we have\u2014the \u2018meantime\u2019\u2014our songs are like those in Tolkien\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2XviY3P\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Lord of the Rings<\/em><\/a>&nbsp;on the Fields of Cormallen, where the minstrel sang to all the host \u201cuntil their hearts, wounded with sweet words, overflowed, and their joy was like swords, and they passed in thought out to regions where pain and delight flow together, and tears are the very wine of blessedness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Christ has died, Christ has risen, Christ will come again!
