Julian Atkins, the Church of England\u2019s Net Zero Carbon Programme Director, said: \u201cAs Christians, we believe we have a responsibility to care for God\u2019s creation and to bear witness to the love we have for our neighbours, particularly those who are most vulnerable to the devastating effects of climate change. “Across the country, parishes are taking action in ways that make sense for their own buildings and communities \u2013 raising money locally, making buildings more energy efficient and finding other practical solutions to reduce carbon emissions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
