In 2024, he says, 48.4% of antisemitic offenses were classified as right-wing, compared with 31.1% as fueled by \u201cforeign ideology\u201d and 11% by \u201creligious ideology.\u201d He stresses that \u201cantisemitism linked to Islamist and anti-Israel milieus has risen sharply since Oct. 7 and is now a major part of the threat picture.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And so, 25 years after it opened, Berlin\u2019s Jewish Museum must face up to an existential challenge. It\u2019s no longer enough to \u201cexplain Jewish culture to Germans from a Jewish perspective,\u201d as Ms. Berg describes the institution\u2019s founding mission.
