{"id":148360,"date":"2026-10-28T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-10-28T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kendallharmon.net\/?p=148360"},"modified":"2026-10-28T15:30:50","modified_gmt":"2026-10-28T19:30:50","slug":"prc-religion-remains-stable-in-the-u-s-with-mixed-signals-for-young-adults","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kendallharmon.net\/?p=148360","title":{"rendered":"(PRC) Religion Remains Stable in the U.S., With Mixed Signals for Young Adults"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a prolonged decline, religion in the United States has shown signs of strength and stability in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 2020, steady percentages of U.S. adults have said they identify with a religion, pray daily, consider religion to be very important in their lives and attend religious services at least monthly, according to the newest Pew Research Center surveys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And the percentage of Americans who say they went to religious services in the last month continues to climb following a pandemic-era low point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a June 2026 survey, 34% of U.S. adults say \u201cyes\u201d when asked whether they went to religious services in person during the last month, and a total of 45% say they <em>either<\/em> attended religious services in person <em>or<\/em> watched them online or on TV in the last month.
