For them, it must feel like we&#8217;re changing the rules in the middle of the game.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The truth is that the church has changed its mind about a lot of things. It wasn&#8217;t that long ago that we were using Scripture to justify slavery and the subjugation of women.
