They seem to have forgotten that the Covenant begins with creedal affirmation.<\/p>\n
Any reasonable reading of the Baptismal Covenant affirms that the Episcopal Church is at its very core a \u201ccreedal church.\u201d\u009d It is not correct to make such a broad generalization that \u201cthe Episcopal Church is not a church that
\nreadily thinks in terms of \u201d\u02dcdoctrine\u2019\u201d\u009d when our Baptismal Covenant starts with a common doctrinal statement.<\/p>\n
