{"id":24264,"date":"2011-01-29T19:39:31","date_gmt":"2011-01-29T19:39:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/127.0.0.1\/site\/2017\/2\/1985\/church_times-anglican_primates_meeting_dublin_updated_reports\/"},"modified":"2011-01-29T19:39:31","modified_gmt":"2011-01-29T19:39:31","slug":"church_times-anglican_primates_meeting_dublin_updated_reports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kendallharmon.net\/?p=24264","title":{"rendered":"Church Times&#8211;Anglican Primates&#39; Meeting, Dublin: updated reports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Daily briefings are being released by the Anglican Communion Office, and while these have listed a number of the issues being discussed, such as what it means to be a primate in different regions of the Communion, they have not mentioned the big questions such as what the implications of the boycott might be for the future of the Anglican Communion; or what relationship these Primates can expect with their non-attending peers.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Feheley, working with the Anglican Communion Office, said that the press was not being \u201cgagged\u201d\u009d; but there was a desire to keep the media away \u201cto allow the Primates the space they need\u201d\u009d to be able to have conversations \u201cin a way that\u2019s free\u201d\u009d.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, the absence of most of the conservatives means that there is no occasion for the briefing and counter-briefing that has been seen at earlier encounters of the Primates.<\/p>\n<p>All, then, awaits the final communiqu\u00c3\u00a9, planned for Sunday afternoon, which is expected to deliver the conclusions of the Primates who are present.
