But discouraged by how few people bothered to visit, he instead started posting his clips on Facebook, where his friends were sure to see and comment on his editing skills.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t use my blog anymore,\u201d\u009d said Mr. McDonald, who lives in San Francisco. \u201cAll the people I\u2019m trying to reach are on Facebook.\u201d\u009d<\/p>\n<p>Blogs were once the outlet of choice for people who wanted to express themselves online.
