Certainly we know that there are mysteries in faith beyond our understanding, but we also know that God expects us to use our God-given intelligence.<br \/>\nAnother strength of the Episcopal Church is our comfort with ambiguity. We know that the world is not black and white, and efforts to divide is, and our faith, up that way will not sustain us for long.<br \/>\nThat does not mean we do not know the difference between right and wrong, or that \u201canything goes,\u201d\u009d as our critics sometimes charge.
