It is expected that the Standing Committee will hold its first meeting in April or May of 2013.<br \/>\nThe council consist of 15 members including:<br \/>\nPresident: The Archbishop of Canterbury<br \/>\nChair: Bishop James Tengatenga, Central Africa<br \/>\nVice Chair: Canon Elizabeth Paver, England<br \/>\nThe Rt Revd Ian T Douglas, a continuing member from The Episcopal Church<br \/>\nThere are five Primates elected by the Primates:<br \/>\nThe Most Revd Dr Paul Kwong (Hong Kong)<br \/>\nThe Most Revd Sammuel Azariah (Pakistan)<br \/>\nThe Most Revd David Chillingworth (Scotland)<br \/>\nThe Most Revd Dr Daniel Deng Bul Yak (Sudan)<br \/>\nThe Most Revd Dr Katharine Jefferts Schori (The Episcopal Church)<\/p>\n<p>Thirteen people were nominated and the following six were elected&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aco.org\/acns\/news.cfm\/2012\/11\/6\/ACNS5237\">Read it all<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the penultimate day of the Anglican Consultative Meeting in Auckland, New Zealand the members of the Council elected six members to serve on the Standing Committee.
