The decision was taken to follow this route \u201d\u201c the fourth option from the expert group on abortion &#8211; rather than proposing guidelines, an option favoured by anti-abortion campaign groups.<\/p>\n<p>Responding tonight to the announcement, the Archbishops said the proposal would &#8220;pave the way for the direct and intentional killing of unborn children.
