The call for conformity came in a 29 April 2013 letter released under the signature of the Rt. Rev. James Waggoner, Jr., Bishop of Spokane and was sent to the church\u2019s bishops and standing committees.<\/p>\n<p>However some of the questions were \u201cso egregious\u201d\u009d and so \u201cthin in its substance as to be silly\u201d\u009d. Dr. Ephraim Radner of the Anglican Communion Institute told Anglican Ink.<\/p>\n<p>In his covering letter Bishop Waggoner wrote the committee had noticed \u201ctwo extremes\u201d\u009d in recent years of \u201cintense scrutiny\u201d\u009d and \u201cuninformed consent\u201d\u009d in the consent process for newly elected bishops.
