Officials at St. Matthew\u2019s Episcopal Cathedral in Laramie are pleased to announce that they have named the Rev. Canon Stephen Askew of the Episcopal Diocese of Eastern Tennessee to serve as their dean. Askew will be joining the cathedral on Oct. 1, and will be seated as the dean on Oct. 11. Askew is replacing the previous dean, the Very Rev. Marilyn Engstrom, who retired on July 31, 2012.<\/p>\n
According to Taimi Kuiva, senior warden at St. Matthew\u2019s, the cathedral\u2019s selection of Askew was received with excitement and hope at the church.<\/p>\n
