They are looking for humanitarian action, to save Christianity in the Middle East,\u201d\u009d said Catholicos Aram of Cilicia, patriarch of the Armenian Apostolic Church.<\/p>\n<p>The Armenian patriarch said a comprehensive strategy is needed to defeat Islamic State extremism that \u201cthreatens the very survival of Christianity\u201d\u009d in places like Iraq and Syria.
