{"id":5527,"date":"2008-04-07T17:53:00","date_gmt":"2008-04-07T17:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/127.0.0.1\/site\/2017\/2\/1985\/in_massachusetts_three_episcopal_churches_sign_joint_covenant\/"},"modified":"2008-04-07T17:53:00","modified_gmt":"2008-04-07T17:53:00","slug":"in_massachusetts_three_episcopal_churches_sign_joint_covenant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kendallharmon.net\/?p=5527","title":{"rendered":"In Massachusetts Three Episcopal churches sign joint covenant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Three Episcopal churches in the city are in the process of merging into a single parish.<br \/>\nThe Episcopal Church of the Ascension, 160 Rock St., St. Mark\u2019s Episcopal Church, 125 Mason St., and the St. John\u2019s-St. Stephen\u2019s Episcopal Partnership, 711 Middle St., held a covenant-signing worship service Sunday at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension.<br \/>\nThe new Episcopal parish will be named the Church of the Holy Spirit, located at 160 Rock St.<br \/>\nA fourth Episcopal church, St. Luke\u2019s, 315 Warren St., has decided against joining the merger at this time.<br \/>\n\u201cOver the past few years, none of those churches was going particularly well,\u201d\u009d said the Rev.
