{"id":58581,"date":"2017-03-29T17:11:54","date_gmt":"2017-03-29T21:11:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kendallharmon.net\/?p=58581"},"modified":"2017-03-30T05:03:50","modified_gmt":"2017-03-30T09:03:50","slug":"ap-parents-lawsuit-says-son-was-baptized-against-their-wishes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kendallharmon.net\/?p=58581","title":{"rendered":"(AP) Parents&#8217; lawsuit says son was baptized against their wishes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The parents of a developmentally disabled boy in Ohio have sued his former court-appointed guardian, a minister and the child&#8217;s mentor claiming he was baptized at an evangelical church last year against the couple&#8217;s wishes.<\/p>\n<p>A Geauga (jee-AH&#8217;-guh) County judge on Wednesday said the family&#8217;s court involvement ended 14 months before the baptism, something the lawsuit failed to note.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit was filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Cleveland by April and Gregg DeFibaugh, of Chardon.
