Abdullahi Ganduje at the Government House.<\/p>\n<p>The clergyman,  who described the trend in recent times as alarming,\u200e urged Nigerians to work assiduously to control hate speech.\u200e \u201cHate speech has serious consequences on our country as it promotes violence, extremism and conflicts. \u201cMost of the adherents of these two religions don\u2019t have the real understanding of the teaching\u200es of their religions; that is why we having problem with hate speeches,\u201d he said.
