I and a number of brother Primates (representing between us over half of practising Anglicans worldwide) did not attend as a matter of conscience. We cannot \u2018walk together\u2019 with those who have abandoned the teaching of the Bible, but that is what the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.anglicancommunion.org\/structures\/instruments-of-communion\/primates-meeting.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Communiqu\u00e9 issued<\/a>\u00a0from the meeting encourages us to do.
