{"id":68501,"date":"2018-02-23T12:01:12","date_gmt":"2018-02-23T17:01:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kendallharmon.net\/?p=68501"},"modified":"2018-02-23T06:34:48","modified_gmt":"2018-02-23T11:34:48","slug":"acns-more-tributes-from-anglican-leaders-follow-death-of-us-evangelist-billy-graham","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kendallharmon.net\/?p=68501","title":{"rendered":"(ACNS) More tributes from Anglican leaders follow death of US evangelist Billy Graham"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The former Archbishop of Sydney, Peter Jensen, told\u00a0<em>Eternity News<\/em>\u00a0that he\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/2omT3fF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">became a Christian at a Billy Graham rally<\/a>\u00a0at the age of 15. \u201cThe thing that struck me was that he held the Bible in his hand and he preached the Bible,\u201d he said. \u201cI already believed that the Bible was the word of God, so when he preached the Bible \u2013 and he preached that day from Noah and the Ark in Genesis \u2013 it seemed an inevitable thing to do to follow his invitation to come down the front, as a way of indicating that you wished to commit your life to Jesus Christ. It seemed inevitable to me that one would do that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said that the rallies \u201creaped a harvest\u201d.
