The first five classes will be held at St. Philip\u2019s Church, Charleston, and the last two will be held at St. Michael\u2019s Church, Charleston. The classes will be held in the church parish halls.<\/p>\n<p>The format of the evenings will be to have a teaching from 7 to 8 pm (after which people who need to leave may do so), with an open Question and Answer session to follow for those who wish to stay from 8 to 8:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The class will cover the following topics in order:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Authority and Revelation<\/li>\n<li>The Holy Trinity<\/li>\n<li>The Person and Work of Jesus Christ<\/li>\n<li>The Nature of Human Beings<\/li>\n<li>The Christian Life<\/li>\n<li>The Church<\/li>\n<li>Eschatology, or the Last Things<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Though there is no charge for the class, participants are asked to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/public.serviceu.com\/RegistrationForm\/9996452-406582767\/?OrgKey=562d9500-05a3-47c7-88a8-1c6e90c72687\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">register online at www.diosc.com<\/a>\u00a0and obtain the book,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Know-Truth-Handbook-Christian-Belief\/dp\/0830825762\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1521898056&amp;sr=8-1&amp;keywords=know+the+truth+bruce+milne\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Know the Truth: A Handbook of Christian Belief<\/em>,<\/a>\u00a0by Bruce Milne. Participants are asked to bring the Milne book and their own Bible to each session. There will be reading assignments as well as a minimum of course work to be completed.
